About the Meeting
The meeting is intended for scientists, resource managers, educators, students, policymakers, and others interested in atmospheric deposition, air quality, and its effects on aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. NADP data has been used for decades to understand and solve real-world problems impacting people and the planet, including helping to facilitate cleaner water, healthier air quality, more productive fisheries, informed environmental planning, improved air quality and climate forecasting, and responsible environmental stewardship.

Symposium Theme: NADP 2026: THINKING OUTSIDE THE BUCKET: Innovation in a Changing Environment
The 2026 symposium will focus on encouraging innovative approaches to air, deposition, and ecosystem monitoring and data analyses. The symposium will bring together scientists, environmental policy professionals, natural resource managers, and advocacy groups to advance the science and tools that are needed to effectively protect human and ecosystem health. Symposium sessions will include:

- Mercury Cycling, Deposition, and Bioaccumulation
- Atmospheric Deposition Monitoring: Networks, Methods, and Innovative Data Analyses
- Aerosols, Particles, and Air–Surface Exchange
- Emerging Pollutants and their Impacts to Human Health
- State, Local and Tribal Concerns Connecting Air Quality to Atmospheric Deposition

Student engagement
NADP welcomes and encourages student attendance! Current undergraduate and graduate students presenting posters or talks will be offered a discounted registration fee and will be eligible for an award for best student presentation. Check back for more information on student engagement and travel support opportunities.
Virtual Participation
There will be a virtual option for the Spring Meeting and Scientific Symposium. The Business meetings on Tuesday will be made available at no charge.
